"Love Rollercoaster" as performed by Muthaland featuring Bill "Giff" Gifford,is a song by American funk/R&B band The Ohio Players, originally featured on their 1975 album Honey. The song was a hit upon its initial release, reaching the top of both the R&B and pop charts, and still sees wide airplay on classic funk and R&B stations. The song uses the roller coaster, a common theme park attraction, as a metaphor for the ups and downs of dating and romance.

It was the group's most successful song, and features one of the most recognizable grooves in funk music."Pick Up the Pieces" was released in Great Britain on July 1974 but failed to make an impression. When the album was released in America in October 1974, radio stations started to pick up on the song, and on 22 February 1975, it went to the top of the US singles chart. " Car Wash" as performed by Muthaland featuring Wanda "Slim" Jenkins  is a 1976 number-one single by Rose Royce for MCA Records, the group's debut single and one of the most notable hits of the disco era. Written and produced by the band's main producer Norman Whitfield, "Car Wash", the theme of the 1976 film Car Wash, was Rose Royce's most successful hit single. The song was later covered in 2004 by Christina Aguilera and Missy Elliott, who released their version as the single for the Shark Tale soundtrack.

It was also the basis of a top five U.S. hit for Vanilla Ice in 1990.
